Psychology

Ear Candling
An ear candle, sometimes called an ear cone, is a long hollow tube tapered to a hand finished tip that fits comfortably into the outer ear canal. The large end of the candle is lit and the smoke creates a spiral down through the ear canal. The warmth of the smoke gently dislodgs foreign debris, softens old ear wax and helps evaporate excess moisture.
Ear candling is a non-evasive, peaceful, relaxing, and pleasant experience. It can help relieve earache pain and provide relief from pressure in the sinuses by allowing the ear to naturally push out old ear wax. Other potential benefits can include detoxifying the lymphatic system and clearing the sinuses. More subtle changes may also occur on an energy level, resulting in an overall improved sense of well-being.

Herbology
Chinese herbology is very safe and effective way to restore health and wellness when prescribed by a trained practitioner. Herbal prescriptions are given either raw, powdered, or in pill form. These formulas are tailored to the individual's personal health needs. Herbal medicine is often used in conjunction with acupuncture.
Cupping
This is a method of stimulating Acupuncture points by applying suction through a metal, wood, or glass jar, in which a partial vacuum has bee created. This technique produces blood congestion at the site and therefore stimulates it. Cupping is used for low backache, sprains, soft tissue injuries, and helping relieve fluid from the lungs in chronic bronchitis.
Moxibustion
The treatment of diseases by applying heat to Acupuncture points. Acupuncture and Moxibustion are considered complimentary forms of treatment, and are commonly used together. Moxibustion is used for ailments such as bronchial asthma, bronchitis, certain types of paralysis, and arthritic disorders.
Accupressure
This is simply Acupuncture without needles. Stimulation of the Acupuncture points is performed with the fingers or an instrument with a hard ball shaped head. Another variation of Acupressure is Reflexology (also called Zone Therapy). This is where the soles of the feet and the posterior-inferior regions of the ankle joints are stimulated.
